There are no advantages of alcohol or drug use. Eventually both will ruin your and your loved ones lives…
There are no advantages.
The only thing that people think of as an advantage is that it takes you away from life crap and problems. This is not an advantage. It keeps you in denial, it makes your problems like snow balls.
Disadvantages are more that what can be counted… .
If you’re thinking about doing drugs, don’t. It won’t solve anything. I’ve seen people do that, all they got was more problems and suicide attempts.

There are no advantages to alcohol and drug use. There may be an immediate high, but the side effects are incredibly harmful and definitely not worth living through. There is a reason why groups such as AA and NA are seen in almost every city in the country. The list of disadvantages is far too long to post here. And yes, alcohol and drugs are guaranteed to interfere with what one wants from life. You have no life by using these substances.

There are no advantages in taking mind altering drugs in any form at any time or the excessive use of alcohol. Both impair your judgment. I personally have never needed to use either excessively or on an ongoing basis but have seen the devastation that it has caused in families (rich and poor).I have seen good minds (personal friends) spoiled by habitual usage. As such I cannot see how they can be beneficial in any way.
There is nothing wrong with a glass of good red wine in good company to get the juices flowing but if it becomes necessary to have to drink or pop a cap before you can socialize then you have the beginnings of a serious problem that needs some serious introspection.
Your work will suffer no employer wants an employee with a pickled brain.. so eventually your job or career will come to grief. Just look at the addicts on the street scrounging money for a fix or the prostitutes selling their souls to vulgar and cruel individuals for the sake of a drink or a moment of relief from their pitiful existence.
