KR Tools 12609 Autoloader 6-in-1 Auto-Loading Classic and Precision Screwdriver Set

I’m an electrician, and have only recently been convinced a multi-purpose tool should be used for anything. I use Klein 10-in-1 and 11-in-1 screwdrivers, which are warrantied forever and can be traded in at Sears, Home Depot, Menard’s, Lowes, and Ace hardware.
I’d like to see how this flimsy screwdriver, with moving PLASTIC parts will hold up. my Klein is chrome plated steel with hardened bits. It also has torx, square drive, 3 nut drive sizes, 2 philips and 2 regular. This piece of junk? You can TELL its made in China. The only weight to it is in the lead used in the plastic in recycled childrens toys made in China, too.
Name one gadget company that is still around from even a few years ago. Salad Shooter, Spacebags, Clothes Shaver, Pet Rock (now reborn).
Good luck using this more than twice. The price isnt even justifiable, my KLEIN is CHEAPER even at RETAIL!

I bought one and returned it.
The large “classic” screwdriver’s handle is too big – both in diameter and length – and difficult to get good purchase on: it’s just plain uncomfortable. I suppose they were trying to always show the label, but it’s amusing to me that all of the product pictures show it being used with two hands. The shaft is too short. I have several multi-function screwdrivers and this one was the most expensive and the worst to use. It does change bits quicker than any of the others.
The precision screwdriver doesn’t include many of the smallest bits.

Great to have around the house. No looking around for the right size. Good for those everyday small household jobs.

I bought this tool almost immediately after I bought the larger version. This has an even better feel than the larger version. I only have two tools in my drawer at work, and always have the right tool just a click away.

I’ve only used this set twice. However, it’s been tested about 3 times by family members because they like changing the tips. The small screwdriver broke; the handle won’t turn. After shaking, two tips flew out across the room. We shook it thinking maybe a tip was at an odd angle and needed straightened out. First, one tip flew out; another shaking caused the 2nd tip to fly out. I contacted customer service and was told to return the broken screwdriver and I’d be sent a new one. Now I have to decide if it’s worth spending money on shipping. I like the screwdrivers and was considering buying a few for gifts this year. I’m holding off on any more purchases; I want to find out if the bigger one is going to break just as easily.
hmmm, I wonder if the tips flying out could be considered a hazard.
