depends on the motor and tranny. if it is the 4.6L V8 with the 5-speed in the 02-05 explorers, than yes it is possible. remember thats the engine in the crown vic, grand marquis, and the lincoln town car. they are designed to go for half a million k’s thats why the police and taxi’s use them. they are beasts. if its the v6, i wouldn’t put it past ford to make one that could go that far. if its any other yr explorer, maybe, maybe not. its how the truck is run and if its taken care of.
